A Climate Survey Reveals Widespread Satisfaction

Inclusion is a strength, while internal communication is a weakness. Professional growth and corporate well-being are reasons for appreciation, while work-life balance is an aspect to be strengthened. These are the most meaningful points of the climate survey conducted by TEC-SIM at the end of December 2024.

The climate survey was conducted through a questionnaire handed out to the company staff. An image of widespread satisfaction and well-being in the company emerges from there, even though some aspects of the working environment can be improved.

What Is A Corporate Climate Survey?

A company climate, also called organizational climate, is the set of perceptions and interpretations that the company staff develops regarding the work environment.

Therefore, a corporate climate survey consists in the detection and evaluation of these perceptions and interpretations. If people are considered the true value of the organization, climate surveys are a strategic tool for managing and developing human resources.

What Is The Purpose of A Corporate Climate Survey?

Corporate climate surveys have the purpose to highlight states of well-being and, above all, states of malaise in the company as well as to find out critical issues to work on in order to improve the company climate.

As a matter of fact, research shows that a pleasant working atmosphere is one of the most important elements when choosing an employer and it represents a determining factor not only for attracting new talent, but also for retaining those already employed by the company.

On the contrary, situations of discomfort, tension and bad mood risk seriously compromising company well-being and negatively influencing the quality and productivity of work, generating dissatisfaction and hindering the achievement of business goals.

Furthermore, taking a picture of the relationship between staff and working context is a strategic starting point for planning future company policies with adequate interventions.

How to Improve The Corporate Climate? TEC-SIM’s Action Plan

In response to the results of the corporate climate survey, TEC-SIM has made an action plan.

At the top of the list, there is internal communication, which proved to be the point of greatest fragility. In this regard, an updated and clarifying organizational chart has been published. Beside that, a first-level meeting has been established on a monthly basis, during which transversal company issues can be discussed. With the good weather coming, there will be another team-building day, which was much appreciated last year. Likewise, convivial events will be organized in order to spend non-working time together.

On the training side, a training plan for the entire company staff has been envisaged to increase both technical and soft skills.

In addition to the proposals already scheduled, TEC-SIM’s management remains open to suggestions and proposals that may emerge on a daily basis.
