Its privileged location requires even more attention to the company about their impact on the environment.
The River Sile is the longest spring river in Italy and it flows past eleven municipalities, which are in the provinces of Padua, Venice and Treviso, including Silea. It is a protected area, made up of springs, flora and fauna that are still uncontaminated.
TEC-SIM large orchard is the link between the natural context of the River Sile Park and our production of stainless steel equipment. Depending on the season, you can pick apples, pears, figs, pomegranates, plums and other fruits from our organic orchard… A fruit freshly picked from the tree has a completely different flavour!
In addition to the current photovoltaic system which is on the roof of our offices, a project for the installation of another photovoltaic system on the roof of the production area is underway and it will cover approximately 75% of our energy needs.
In 2022, we started a waste reduction project in our offices and production plant. The project is producing a 45% reduction of the unrecyclable waste.
To reduce the use of plastic bottles, a microfiltration system which delivers hot, cold and sparkling water has been installed.
The refurbishment of our headquarters has been completed, while the recovery of an abandoned wing of the company is underway and it will be used as a a canteen and a recreational area.
