TEC-SIM an Italian company with global expertise in bespoke design and custom manufacturing of stainless steel pressure vessels, such as freeze drying chambers, condensers, reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, fractionating and refining columns.
Over the years, TEC-SIM has specialized in manufacturing freeze-drying, sterilization, drying and condensation equipment for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
To manufacture their pressure vessels, TEC-SIM use exclusively stainless steel (1.4401-316, 1.4404-316L, 1.4435-316LM, 1.4571-316Ti, 1.4301-304, 1.4307-304L, 1.4541-321) and other special alloys of top-end steel (e.g. Duplex, Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Nitronic®60), mainly from the European Union, with a rigorous traceability system.
Upon request, we can use other special stainless steel alloys.
AISI 316 is an austenitic (non-magnetic) stainless steel alloy composed of a low carbon content (~0.05%) and a sufficient content of chromium (16-18%), nickel (11-14%) and molybdenum (2 -3%).
AISI 304 is a non-magnetic austenitic stainless steel, composed of a low carbon content (approximately 0.05%), a chromium content between 18% and 20%, and a nickel content between 8% and 11%.
AISI 321 is the name used to define the category of austenitic stainless steels obtained with the addition of titanium as a stabilizer, with a content of up to 4%.
Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Nitronic®60… are stainless alloys that combine good corrosion resistance with high mechanical resistance and ease of processing.
