It is in contexts such as trade shows that new ideas, alternative approaches and innovations useful in one’s own business are encountered and compared. In addition, trade shows can be valuable team-building experiences, where the sense of belonging and corporate identity, fellowship among colleagues and team spirit are strengthened.
TEC-SIM at MECSPE
Precisely these motivations drove some engineers from the TEC-SIM team to attend MECSPE, the Italian show dedicated to the manufacturing industry.
«At TEC-SIM, we are working on the creation of a new Quality Control Room with the aim of optimising the methods of verification and evaluation of the production quality. So at MECSPE, I am looking for cues, new ideas and solutions» explains TEC-SIM Quality Manager.
MECSPE (Bologna, 6th – 8th March) saw 59,845 trade visitors (+52% on 2022), 92,000 square metres of exhibition area and 2,034 attending companies in 2023. The inspiring themes of the 2024 edition of MECSPE are sustainability, innovation and training. The central focus of the Exhibition ‘Energy Transition & Sustainability in the Manufacturing Industry’ is an area where the themes of mobility and the hydrogen supply chain are deepened. Exhibition halls at the 2024 edition are: Machines and Tools, Sheet Metal Working Machines, Digital Factory, Logistics, Mechanical Subcontracting, Electronics Italy, Eurostampi, Additive Manufacturing, Treatments and Finishes, Non-Ferrous Materials and Alloys, Automation and Robotics, Control and Quality, Power Drive.
