For the famous Canadian-American architect Frank Owen Gehry, TEC-SIM manufactured the large sphere sculpture located in the Port Olímpic in Barcelona. The sphere was erected in 1992 together with the famous Pez, an enormous 56-meter-long and 35-meter-high figure, which seems ready to dive at any moment into the waters of the Mediterranean Sea in front of which it is located.
In one of the largest and most advanced airports in the world, TEC-SIM manufactured a handrail designed by the studio of the British architect Norman Foster. Completed in 1998, Hong Kong airport is expected to handle eighty million passengers a year by 2040, the equivalent of London Heathrow and New York JFK airports combined.
